NFL DFS - CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK

PREVIEW:

So I am sort of struggling with this slate, in both the SD, and the main slate this week we are not really getting great value on players that we were previously. As a result, I see this as more of a team stacking slate. With that, I will be using the two teams that should easily win. The Chiefs and the Rams are going to be the teams I try to use the most of.

The Chiefs and the Rams I sort of expecting to win by a good margin today. Basically with the Bengals upsetting the Titans, and the Packers giving the Niners a win it sets up a pretty easy path for both the Chiefs and the Rams to get to the superbowl.

With the Bengals I think their inexperience will get the best of them, and although it is a nice story that they have gotten here we can all easily say that they were pretty fortunate to make it this far. Heck if the Bills or Chiefs played them last week there is no way I would have thought the Bengals would stand a chance. The Chiefs will only lose this week if they make some costly mistakes.

The Niners and the Rams game could be a little bit closer as the Niners have actually beat the Rams twice. On paper the Rams are the better team so I expect them to pull this one out. As a Packers fan I still do not know how they lost that game. The Niners basically had everything go their way to get that W last week, and I just do not see that sort of thing happening again. Although the Rams did try to give away their game last week so who knows. The Niners would be up their with the Giants, Ravens, and Panthers as one of the worst teams to make the Superbowl in recent memory, and that is why I am thinking that the Rams will pull this one out.

If I were to place a bet on a team to win the SB I would bet money on the Chiefs right now.

Slate Core Plays

Bryson Pringle, CJ Uzomah, Brandon Aiyuk, Patrick Mahomes, Ja'marr Chase, Coopper Kupp.

Chiefs vs Bengals:

When looking at the Chiefs and Bengals game I could easily see this being a high-scoring game. So if you were looking to stack a game I would do this game. If the Bengals are to win this game it will be because their defense stepped up. So if you're thinking the Bengals win this one, toss in the Bengals D.

The tough part about this game is that all of the quality plays are priced up. Even some of our recent "free" squares like Byron Pringle, and CJ Uzomah are priced up. Still I think those two players are still the best values that we get on this slate. Thus I will be wanted to rostering those two the most.

After that, I still like Jerrick McKinnon the most for the Chiefs at the RB spot. Now a lot of his value is going to be dictated by game flow as a lot of his DK points have come in the passing game, but once again I think this will be a high-scoring game. So I am going to attack it as such.

After that I do really like Ja'Marr Chase, heck this guy went for 58DK points against the Chiefs in week 17. He is priced cheap enough that you can fit him into most of your builds. After that it is a guessing game between Tee Higgins or Tyler Boyd. I would only play one or the other if any at all this week.

I think if we are choosing between the QBs on the main slate we would want to go with Mahomes or Burrow. I do somewhat think Burrow could let the pressure get to him this week so I am favoring Mahomes. But Burrow did just put up 37 DK points against this team in week 17. Since then though Burrow has failed to score over 20 DK points. I like Mahomes the most out of any QB on the slate.

For Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, and Joe Mixon sure they are good plays, I just have a hard time going out of my way to fit them into my builds.

Game Stack / Showdown Build:

Niners vs Rams:

Last week I wrote up that if the Packers do not beat themselves I thought they would win, well that is how I feel about the Rams today, although I think the Rams and Niners are more evenly matched.

On the main slate the players that we want to be on are easily Cam Akers, Deebo Samuel, and Cooper Kupp. If you're playing SD slates as well those are going to be the 3 players you want to be on the most as well. The fourth player that I still really like this week is Brandon Aiyuk. Yes last week he only had 1 target but the Niners offense sucked last week. I think they will be a little bit better this week.

Kind of like the Bengals, I think the only way that the Niners win is if their defense steps up. At the same time Jimmy G threw like 4 passes last week that could have been taken for TDs. So we could possibly get a SD slate in which both Ds are in the winning lineup. If this happens then I would also want to be on Eli Mitchell. Once again though Mitchell is a TD or bust play. I somewhat have a feeling that he is going to score a TD this week.

Personally, that is all of the players that I really want to be on this week. Tyler Higbee is a fine value play, and if you can afford to pay up for Kittle or if you end up on OBJ that is fine, they are just not players I am going out of my way to play this week.
