With this being such a huge slate with a lot of injury news still left to break, I will do the write up slightly different today. We will start with the Player Pool and then get into the thoughts of why. Tonight seems like a night where we should do a fair and balanced approach with the lineup because we have a ton of priced down plays.
PLAYER POOL
Point Guard:
The point guard spot if very solid this tonight. We get Lonzo Ball at a price point that he could absolutely exceed. The same can be said for Terry Rozier who has seemed to have found his spot in this offense, and who is finally playing consistently. He went for 40 + in this matchup a few weeks ago. D Lo is a play that we go with if he is going to start, as he would be way too cheap. With Ky Bowman down in the G-League yesterday it seems like Russell will play tonight.
Shooting Guard:
These are all value plays, and I like them all decently. I think that Bullock, and Joseph are the safest, and Curry is a play that if he gets hot he could go off.
Small Forward:
Demar has been far too consistent lately, which is why he finally saw a price bump, but he is still too cheap. Ariza has been a nice play the last two slate due to injuries for the Kings allowing him to get the minutes. I think Ariza could easily get to 30 DK points tonight.
Power Forward:
Khem Birch could be in for a lot of minutes tonight if Aaron Gordon sits, and if Birch is going to get those minutes he could really break the slate. I really like Jaymachal Green as a play, but his price point is up there tonight. Green should still be able to 6X that price point. Portis should be in for another high minutes game (if he stays out of foul trouble). If Portis does get the minutes he should easily exceed that price point tonight. Thad Young just seems like a safe play tonight. I am expecting Harrell to go for 40 DK points with PG13 out tonight.
Center:
LMA can be played at either Center or Power Forward, but either way, I will probably end up on him like I have for the past month or so. Someone at DK hates him and he is still too cheap. Dedmon is a guy that could easily give the Bucks trouble tonight if he 3 ball is dropping. He could easily go for 30 DK points tonight if he gets the minutes like he did last game.
