NFL DFS: Thursday Night Football: Breakdown - Cash Lineup, Pivot Lineups, GPP Plays, and Values

This is a likely going to be a very concentrated slate, a slate in which it should be easy to chase a high-floor lineup. I have already put in a lot of rules in place into the NineToFive Lineup Builder where I am targeting at least 1 of the Bills RB's, at least 1 of the LAR WR's, and RB's, and then with the Niners at least 1 of their WR's in all the builds I am generating. That is because we should be able to predict the playing time with those spots, and those spots should have a high floor. Then it will just be closing out the build correctly to ensure that we are getting correlated upside based lineups.

interesting slate changing news: Tough to know what this means for the WR playing time for tonight's game.

Note Core Plays are always considered other plays (GPP only, or Cash Plays)

The player pool is listed below. Any updates for the slate will be called out in the Discord Chat.

Team Preview's / Last Week Snaps & Stats

We are expecting a full half of football out of Kyle Allen and Shane Buechele. This makes them both greet plays, but we should have better plays at the QB spot in terms of playing time else where. RB is where I really like the Bills especially if Ty Johnson is OUT. It doesn't make sense to give Ray Davis a lot of work in this game thus I expect Gore, and Wheeler to play a significant amount of the snaps and continue to look well.

The WR's is where it get's a little interesting. I like Maclin, and Gosnell the most as their snaps should be a little bit more secure. Maclin has earned himself more snaps, and if Hardman is OUT that should lead to Maclin getting more work. Gosnell should be a safe play. At TE Zylstra, and Latu are in play.

Drew Allar and Will Howard are expected to split snaps for the Steelers, both of them are somewhat in play, but I would prefer Allar who has looked better thus far this preseason. The WR's for the Steelers are all a dart throw. The ones I like the most are Bernard, and Hurleman. Use them in stacks with one of the QB's.

We will need to pay attention to whether or not Lan Larison is active. If he is active he is one of the better RB plays on the slate. But I am leaning towards him sitting, and if he does end up sitting that means we should be locking in double digit carries for Jam Miller. Haskins will also get some work as well.

I worry that Efton Chism might not get a ton of work tonight as he seems to have played well enough to make the team after the Boutte trade, which is what leads me to like Nick DeGennaro the most for the Pats. I view those two as the top two for the Pats, but Cameron Dorner, and Kyle Dixon are slightly in play as well.
