NFL DFS: Wednesday Night Football: Breakdown - Cash Lineup, Pivot Lineups, GPP Plays, and Values
The NFL is back! Tonight we have a Superbowl Rematch Between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. It is obviously a matchup between two great teams, this is great for viewing purposes not the best for elite edges for DFS. We also have a lack of clarity for both teams on the offensive side of the football.
Last years Superbowl MVP is no longer there, as Kenneth Walker is now in Kansas City. His replacements tonight will be rookie Jadarian Price, and George Holani. Both I like tonight considering their prices.
For New England they have two upgrades at WR1, and WR2 going from Diggs/Boutte to Brown/Doubs. Giving the pricing I do like Doubs, he should be safe, and maybe we get lucky with a TD. We also have TreVeyon Henderson OUT tonight. This means that we will be seeing at least 70% of Rhamondre Stevenson. This also means we really don't know who the RB2. Recently acquired Corey Kiner is listed as the RB2, but pass catching Specialist Lan Larison is only at $400. Given the price, and potentially 3rd down role he could be an interesting punt. I don't view him as someone we are going out of our way to play but more an interesting shoulder shrug play.

Game Preview
The issue tonight is that both tools basically project the same. We have a little more value with the Seahawks. There isn't a single player that on paper is locked into out playing their price tag. We are geting some good values. This looks like a slate where we want to get to at least 1 Kicker and potentially a DST.
Seahawks:
For the Seahawks JSN is the easy click for them. He will have a high floor and should be someone we are going out of our way to target after that it becomes difficult.
The Seahawks are a good enough offense to get into scoring position, but the Pats are a good enough defense to stop them from scoring a TD. Like in the Superbowl I think Jason Myers is the next best choice for the Seahawks. Myer is projecting at around 27% ownership I will probably be closer to 35%.
Then I might set a rule where I get to around 65% of at least AJ Barner or George Holani in my builds. This is more due to the nature of the slate that we have. i like both of them for value. Barner had a big game against the Pats in the SB, and that is basically the only weakness this defense has. Holani is expected to get some work out receiving the football. A lot of the prop sites have him at 3 Fantasy Points just there, maybe we get lucky with a TD. Both I view as safer values.
Elijah Arroyo is the Seahawks backup TE who popped off in the preseason for a TD. He is someone that could have some "random" production again this week like he did a lot last season. With Tory Horton OUT, and the league switching to more 2 TE sets, i think we could see Arroyo get around 25 snaps tonight. If he does that makes him a great value. Especially for someone who is more of a pass catching TE.
Kupp, Shaheed, Darnold, and Price are all fine. Don't really think we need to go out of our way to get to them, but I don't dislike them either. Obviously if you have the salary pay up for Darnold. If you don't I wouldn't sweat it. Go Myers instead.
