Preseason NFL DFS: 3-Game Friday Slate Breakdown - Cash Lineup, Pivot Lineups, GPP Plays, and Values

This is a strange slate where we are getting 3 great QB's and another that is good for stacking purposes. All 4 we are able to logically stack. The issue tonight is a lack of clarity at the TE position, and a lack of elite RB plays. I have above 1 that I feel confident in and that is Lew Nichols. That is also assuming that Rico Dowdle and Jaylen Warren sit along with Rodgers, Metcalf, and Pittman. That is the most important news that we are waiting on.

The other situation I am looking to monitor is the Denver Broncos RBs. Sean Payton made a note to see that he had seen enough out of Jonah Coleman in the last preseason game which is why he played limited snaps. With he play today, how much will he play if say. If he and Dobbins sit that then makes Jaleel McLaughlin a great RB option.

Worth noting that Sam Ehlinger, and Jarrett Stidham are also somewhat in play at QB but much more difficult to stack.

Note Core Plays are always considered other plays (GPP only, or Cash Plays)

The player pool is listed below. Any updates for the slate will be called out in the Discord Chat.

Playing Time / Team Notes:

Quarterbacks:

Core Plays: We are only getting 3 QB's that are looking like great plays, and that is Drew Allar, Kyle McCord, and Will Howard. All 3 are expected to play a full half of football. The rest of the QB's on this slate are dart throws. The next best play at QB is Carter Bradley who should get about a half of football as well. Bradley is a little easier to stack, he is just less appealing talent wise.

Core

  • Drew Allar

    • Stack with Max Hurleman who I view as one of the top WR plays on the slate. Should get around 40% of the snaps tonight. Then Wetjen makes sense in lineups with Allar.
