NFL DFS: Thursday Night Football: Breakdown - Cash Lineup, Pivot Lineups, GPP Plays, and Values

5 min read

I like tonight's slate, we are getting a lot of value in what looks to be a game that will end up being a high scoring shootout. We have a too cheap Blake Corum, and I like the idea of getting to one of the LAR TE's as they are too cheap. On top of that due to a lack of clarity in regards to who the SF WR1 is we are getting all of their WRs a little bit too cheap. The thing with these types of slates is that you're are always going to have to fade one stud that is likely to go off to make a solid lineup work. 1 of those potential studs is George Kittle who has been cleared to play. The question is just how much will he play. If he were OUT we would be loading up on Jake Tonges. Both of those TE are simply dart throws tonight.

Lastly I have updated a lot of the tools on the website. The ones that demand more from the website are in a new location. Visit: https://www.ninetofivesports.com/member-tools . This will bring you to a dashboard of all of these tools. Click on the tool that you would like to use. Below I have a video breaking down how to go about using the updated NFL DFS Dashboard that include the Lineup Builder as well as the Cheat Sheet.

Game Preview

The values that I have been getting to on this slate are 1 of the Kickers, Blake Corum, or 1 of the TE's for the Rams.. I think Parkinson has is the safest whereas Ferguson is the most risk/reward.

Rams:

For the Rams the obvouis top play is going to be Puka Nacua, and if you're not ending up I him I would try to get to Adams, Kyren or Corum in the CPT spot. Basically if Puka does not have a good game it is going to be because someone else scored multiple TD's. Think of Puka as JSN last night. The one clear player to get to, except Puka shouldn't have to worry about having a difficult matchup.

I do like the idea of playing Adams in the CPT spot, I almost like him more as CPT or bust type of play. Where at this stage of his career he has become more TD dependent and with this being a high scoring game it would not be shocking to see him put up two TD's. I would prioritize these two over Stafford as if Stafford has a good game it will likely be because one of these two are having a good game.

I would set a role that if a lineup has Stafford in the CPT spot to get to at least 1 of Puka or Adams. Then could try to target Parkinson or Ferguson, or on the very low-end Tyler Higbee. I think Parkinson is a great safe/cash play given his price tag. I just wish we knew forsure that Parkinson was going to be the TE1, and that it isn't going to be Higbee. That being said we will likely see a lot of 12 and 12 personnel. A strange correlation I see with either Higbee, or Parkinson is the RB's. Basically if they are both on the field a lot that means the run game is working, which then setups up plays for them. Could be a sneaky correlation that you get to. Ferguson has been rumored to actually be the LAR "WR3" we will see if that was just a fun narrative or something that actually happens. I think he is a great CPT choice to chase low-owned upside. Knowing fully that he get either go for 17DK points or not play much and get 0.

Blake Corum is the easy play tonight at $4,600, but he is a little TD dependent. He projects to get around 7 FP, and if he does that he is way too cheap, he is chalky but he should be. (Ignore the Fade tag, still working on this for Showdown Slates, those tags are only for Main Slate)

I do think that Kyren Williams is due for a TD, and he did have 4 total against the Niners last year. He is also someone I see as a better CPT choice than Flex, if he goes off that means Stafford isn't. That also means one of Puka or Adams also isn't. If Kyren is going off that also means Corum likely isn't. This likely means the Rams are playing with a lead and the Niners are having to throw the football more. He is one of the best LAR winning game script CPT choices. But that is where he is appealing in that type of game stack.

Niners:
