NFL DFS Week 8 MNF Showdown: BEARS VS SEAHAWKS
Seahawks are 3.5-point home favorites. Total is 46.5. Both defenses have been solid. Shaheed is out for the Seahawks. Kmet is out for the Bears. Kyle Monangai is still out. Price and Charbonnet are expected back for Seattle, but snap counts are unclear. Wilson has been the volume back. This is not a clean slate. Ownership is concentrated on JSN, Caleb, Darnold, Horton, and Swift. Get to one kicker or one defense. Do not captain a kicker or a defense. $48,000 floor. This is likely a 1–2 kicker or DST slate. The total under is live. Both offenses have missing pieces that open clear paths for the players who remain. I really like Horton, Odunze, Burden, Loveland, Barner, and Swift as the high-floor pieces to get to. JSN is the clear top play.
Caleb better CPT play than flex.

Game Preview

Captain
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, SEA — $18,000 CPT / $12,000 FLEX | 28.3 proj | 85% own (First CPT)
Best captain. Highest projection on the slate. Seahawks implied 25. Cap him. He is 85%. He has produced in tough matchups all year. Shaheed is out, which only helps him. He is the one if you want the chalk. He projects for 10 targets and over 99 receiving yards. That is a solid floor even in a lower total.
D'Andre Swift, CHI — $14,700 CPT / $9,800 FLEX | 14.8 proj | 47% own (High)
Second best captain. Bears lead back. He played 80% of snaps last week. Kmet is out, which points to more 11 personnel and more work for Swift. He projects for 22 carries and multiple targets. High floor. He is the one if you want the Bears side. The Seahawks defense is good, but the volume is there.
Caleb Williams, CHI — $15,300 CPT / $10,200 FLEX | 15.9 proj | 72% own (Mid)
Bears quarterback. Needs two Bears pass catchers. Odunze or Burden is the one to keep. Loveland is the third. High ownership. He draws a tough matchup against the Seahawks defense. He is fine if you want the Bears stack. Not the first click.
Luther Burden, CHI — $13,500 CPT / $9,000 FLEX | 12.4 proj | 49% own (High)
Bears receiver. More 11 personnel with Kmet out. He can play closer to 70% snaps. He has been the explosive playmaker. Fine as captain with Williams. High floor if the snaps are there.
Rome Odunze, CHI — $11,400 CPT / $7,600 FLEX | 10.0 proj | 24% own (High)
Too cheap. High target share. More 11 personnel helps him. He projects for 5.5 targets. High floor. He is the one if you want a lower-owned Bears captain with a real role.
